ALKI the Dog needs a home
Hi, my name is ALKI and I would love to meet you. I am a Neutered Male Rat Terrier mix. The shelter staff think I am about 11 years old. I have been at the shelter since Jan 02, 2018.
Meet Alki! This sweet senior found himself in need of a home where his people wil have more time to sepnd with him. Alki`s fomer owners describe him as a typical smart and spunky terrier. Currently Alki is spending his days in one of our fabulous foster homes and has another small-breed dog for a companion. His foster mom says that he has excellent house manners and is a fun walking companion. While he enjoys the company of other dogs he is not much of a player, and does not seem too interested in toys. Alki is the perfect low-maintenance companion dog, he loves his walks and then is happy to curl up for a snooze next to you on the couch. Although he is a senior, Alki has had a good tune-up by the shelter veterinary staff and appears to be a healthy boy.
